Local-ness through the prism of ecological transition
La recherche « le local au prisme de la transition écologique » vise à saisir « par le bas » la notion de « local » en portant l’attention sur les processus de reterritorialisation des activités portés par la transition écologique (TE). Elle consiste à identifier et donner à voir à la fois les liens de proximité que ces activités tissent et les interrelations qu’elles introduisent entre acteurs à différentes échelles. Cette recherche s’appuie dans un premier temps sur le recensement et la cartographie des activités TE productives et de service, publiques, privées et associatives au sein de territoires préalablement sélectionnés. Par exemple : circuits courts alimentaires ou énergétiques, filières de matériaux bio-sourcés, organisations liées à l’économie sociale et solidaire (protection de l'environnement, lutte contre l'exclusion, santé).

Désireux de récompenser et promouvoir les travaux de chercheurs portant sur le XIXe siècle, le Comité de liaison des associations dix-neuviémistes (CL 19) a créé un prix annuel destiné à couronner une thèse de doctorat ou un mémoire de troisième cycle portant sur le XIXe siècle (1789-1914). Ce prix est décerné pour la première fois en 2016, dans l’esprit du CL 19, qui réunit sociétés savantes, groupes de recherche, musées, bibliothèques et institutions culturelles concernées par l’étude du XIXe siècle.

3rd Joseph Déchelette European archaeology prize
Archéologue de renom international, Joseph Déchelette (1862-1914) fut notamment un des fondateurs de l’archéologie protohistorique européenne. Créée en 2010 à l’initiative de son petit neveu Édouard Déchelette(†), l’association Joseph Déchelette souhaite entretenir la mémoire de ce grand savant et promouvoir la discipline qu’il affectionnait. Pour cela, elle s’est associée à différents partenaires pour instituer un Prix Joseph Déchelette destiné à mettre en avant la recherche doctorale d’un jeune archéologue. Ce prix créé en 2016 est destiné à être remis tous les deux ans. Le prix se veut largement ouvert à la communauté archéologique européenne. Ses critères d’attribution comprennent les valeurs qui distinguèrent Joseph Déchelette : ouverture d’esprit, dimension européenne de la réflexion, rigueur intellectuelle, sens pratique.

Two postdoc research grants
Suite à la nomination à un poste définitif d’un de nos chercheurs, nous avons le plaisir d’offrir deux bourses de recherches postdoctorales pour une durée de 12 mois et de 9 mois respectivement pour le projet « Avicenna East & West I : Commentaries on the Qaṣīdat al-nafs ». Le objectifs du projet sont : (1) Comprendre la diffusion de la pensée avicennienne au sens large dans l’Orient musulman à travers l’analyse des commentaires du Poème de l’âme. (2) Procéder à une analyse transversale des commentaires pour déterminer sur quelles questions précises, en quels termes, en utilisant quels types d’arguments, quelles références, quel type de discours, les commentateurs s’affrontent au texte et entre eux.

Um neben den geladenen Gästen auch Nachwuchswissenschaftlern die Möglichkeit zur Teilnahme zu geben, bietet das Langzeitvorhaben bis zu drei Stipendien für Promovierende aus dem In- und Ausland an.
