  Voyage and Cosmopolitanism: From the Island to the World

  We intend to problematize various issues in the current scholarship of the humanities and social sciences from inter- and cross-cultural perspectives: cultural heritage, culture and globalization, identity and the sense of belonging, the impact of (re)writing literatures and other arts within the ethics of "reliance", proposed by Edgar Morin, and of the universalizing singularities, in Alain Badiou's view.

  L’Association portugaise d’études française, en partenariat avec l’Université de Madère, est heureuse d’annoncer le Forum APEF 2012 (www.apef.org.pt) qu’elle organise à Funchal, à l’Université de Madère, et en raison duquel elle lance cet appel à communications aux chercheurs que la vaste thématique de l'île et de l'insularité, et cette réflexion transversale ne manqueront pas d'intéresser et d’interpeller d’un point de vue que nous souhaitons également comparatiste.
