    Transformative learning in Africa

    This current issue is interested in programs that take the social, historical and cultural African contexts into consideration to propose innovative forms of education and training which impact positively on learner/practitioner outcomes. Such programs would naturally respond to questions such as: what contributes to transformational learning? Secondly, within the African context, what challenges do practitioners face when their aim is to introduce lasting changes? Third, what does transformational education really mean in an African context?Lastly, what ethical and cultural questions must be considered when planning and delivering transformative learning?

    Autour de Frantz Fanon et Kwame Nkrumah : regards croisés et prospectives sur le panafricanisme au XXIe siècle

    Le Centre d’études africaines (CEAF) de l’EHESS et l’Université populaire Kwame Nkrumah organisent une journée d’études intitulée : « autour de Frantz Fanon et Kwame Nkrumah : regards croisés et prospectives sur le panafricanisme au XXIe siècle ». Son objectif est double : il s’agit d’une part, de revenir sur les aspects marquants de la théorie et de l’action panafricaines de ces deux figures tutélaires ; d’autre part il est question d’interroger l’actualité et l’efficacité de leur héritage face aux défis qui se posent au panafricanisme aujourd’hui.
