April 20-21, 2001. The American Historical Association
and the University of Wisconsin Colleges are sponsoring their fourth
conference on teaching. The conference, entitled "Teaching and Learning in
the Digital Age: Focus on the History Survey," will be held at the
University of Wisconsin-Waukesha County (15 miles west of Milwaukee off
I-94). Papers and presentations relating to technology and the survey
course are especially sought, but not to the exclusion of presentations
covering course content, teaching resouces, interdisciplinary courses,
learning communities, and teaching and learning methods. Send proposals to
