Ce congrès scientifique préparera l’exposition SIGISMUNDUS REX ET IMPERATOR. 1387-1437 coordonnée par la Hongrie et le Luxembourg et prévue du 15 mars au 18 juin à Budapest et du 13 juillet au 15 octobre 2006 à Luxembourg. Le règne de Sigismond de Luxembourg, roi de Hongrie (1387), roi (1410/11) et empereur (1433) du Saint-Empire, a connu des bouleversements historiques et intellectuels accélérés. Des chercheurs venant notamment des pays de l’Est mettront l’accent sur des facettes moins connues de la personnalité et de l’œuvre de Sigismond ainsi que sur la production artistique de son époque. Le congrès est ouvert au public. Les communications se tiendront en français, allemand ou anglais. Elle bénéficieront d’un service de traduction simultanée.
