On 24-25 October 2016 the two Warsaw-based academic institutions: the Institute of Archaeology of the Cardinal Stefan Wyszyński University and the Institute of Art History of the University of Warsaw organise an international, multidisciplinary conference, which will be devoted to the role of the architecture in creation, enhancement and preservation of cultural landscapes.

Argumentaire

On 24-25 October 2016 the two Warsaw-based academic institutions: the Institute of Archaeology of the Cardinal Stefan Wyszyński University and the Institute of Art History of the University of Warsaw organise international, multidisciplinary conference, which will be devoted to the role of the architecture in creation, enhancement and preservation of cultural landscapes.

Contributions from art historians, heritage conservators, archaeologists, historians, architects, landscape architects, urban planners, nature conservationists and other specialists are welcome on any aspect of relations between human creations and natural environment.

• The participation of early career scholars and postgraduate researchers is positively encouraged. 
• After the conference the publication of the collected papers will take place in 2017.
• Participation in the conference is free of charge.
