L’objectif de cette journée est de promouvoir les échanges sur les thématiques de recherche, les positionnements épistémologiques et questionnements méthodologiques, mais aussi de favoriser une rencontre entre les membres – enseignants-chercheurs et doctorants – des différents laboratoires.  L’appel s’adresse donc aussi bien aux doctorants en début qu’en fin de thèse. Chaque édition invite deux conférenciers en sciences de l’information et de la communication (SIC) qui présentent leurs travaux et leurs approches sur des thématiques innovantes en SIC.

The 11thAnnual Doctoral Students’ Day is organised by PhD students studying at the University of Lille 3 (GERiiCO Laboratory), who wish to communicate and exchange about their research themes, theoretical and epistemological issues, and methodological reflections, with students from other universities, all in an atmosphere of confidence and sharing. The call for participation, therefore, is aimed at students in the early stages of their thesis as well as students in their final stages.Each edition is moderated by two guest speakers in Information and Communication Sciences whose main aim is to present the approaches and discuss the innovative themes of the Information Science

Argumentaire

La thèse de doctorat est un véritable parcours d’initiation à la recherche riche de découvertes : découverte d’une discipline, d’un laboratoire de recherche, d’équipes de travail... En outre, préparer une thèse en Sciences de l’Information et de la Communication, c’est côtoyer des chercheurs qui travaillent sur le document, les médias, la médiation culturelle ou encore la communication d’entreprise. Cette diversité des approches, des objets et des terrains de recherche constitue la richesse et la force de la discipline. Mais elle induit aussi un certain foisonnement des thématiques abordées. L’organisation de cette Journée Jeunes Chercheurs répond à la volonté des doctorants du laboratoire GERiiCO de l’Université Lille 3 de communiquer et d’échanger à propos de leur recherche en cours avec les doctorants en SIC d’autres universités, et ce, dans un climat de confiance et de partage. L’appel s’adresse donc aussi bien aux doctorants en début qu’en fin de thèse. Les communications pourront se faire en français ou en anglais. La rencontre se déroulera sous forme de communications orales et les intervenants bénéficieront de remarques de la part de chercheurs du laboratoire GERiiCO.

A l’occasion de la Journée Jeunes Chercheurs, tous les doctorants qui souhaitent partager leurs réflexions et/ou mettre en lumière les données recueillies lors de leurs investigations de doctorat sont invités à intervenir.

Les communications porteront sur un ou plusieurs des axes suivants :

• Construction de la problématique
• Elaboration du corpus de recherche
• Principales avancées théoriques et conceptuelles effectuées ou en cours de réalisation
• Définition et mise en œuvre du protocole de recherche
• Présentation des résultats à mi-parcours 
• Retour d’analyse de la démarche d’investigation éprouvée 

Aucun objet de recherche et approche spécifique à la discipline (communication, information, documentation) n’est privilégié pour cette journée. Les interventions doivent contribuer à mettre en exergue toute la richesse du champ constitué par les Sciences de l’Information et de la Communication.

Chaque doctorant, quelle que soit son année d’inscription en thèse, est invité à communiquer lors de cette Journée Jeunes Chercheurs. La proposition de communication (Word, Times New Roman 12) comportera les mentions suivantes :

• Coordonnées de l’auteur (nom prénom, adresse électronique, téléphone…)
• Année d’inscription en thèse 
• Titre provisoire de la thèse
• Titre de la communication envisagée
• Un résumé de 500 mots présentant le contenu de cette communication
• Trois mots-clés permettant de décrire la communication prévue

Argument

A PhD thesis is a period of scientific growth rich in discoveries: discovering a discipline, a research laboratory, a research team... In addition, PhD students in Information Science and Communication Studies work on a wide variety of objects: documents, information behaviour, knowledge management, media studies, cultural mediation or corporate communication. This diversity of approaches, research subjects, and research fields are part of the wealth of these disciplines. However, this variety can create distance between students working in different research teams or fields, who have only rare opportunities to exchange about their work.

The 11thAnnual Doctoral Students’ Day is organised by PhD students studying at the University of Lille 3 (GERiiCO Laboratory), who wish to communicate and exchange about their research themes, theoretical and epistemological issues, and methodological reflections, with students from other universities, all in an atmosphere of confidence and sharing.

The call for participation, therefore, is aimed at students in the early stages of their thesis as well as students in their final stages. Students can participate in French or in English. The meeting will include oral presentations while speakers will benefit from the feedback of GERiiCO laboratory researchers. Each edition is moderated by two guest speakers in Information and Communication Sciences whose main aim is to present the approaches and discuss the innovative themes of the Information Science.

All PhD students working in the field of Information Science and Communication or Media Studies, whatever his or her year of enrolment, are invited to participate. Discussions will cover the following topics:

Editorial Guidelines

Each PhD student, regardless of his or her thesis registration year, is invited to communicate in the 11th Annual Doctoral Students’ Day. The participation proposal document should be in Word format and the font type should be Times New Roman of size 12. The document should include the following information:

• The author's contact information (first name, email address, telephone ...)
• The thesis Year
• The working title of the thesis
• Title of proposed communication
• A 500 words summary of the communication content
• A series of three keywords that describe the intended communication
