Habermas, et que les sciences humaines et sociales des religions se sont également approprié diversement (C. Taylor, J. Casanova par exemple). Ce colloque est ouvert à tous les étudiants et jeunes chercheurs (maîtrise, doctorat et post doctorat), dans une perspective pluridisciplinaire (droit, économie, histoire, géographie, sociologie, anthropologie, urbanisme, sciences politiques, littérature…).

The 8^th international conference for postgraduate students in Religious Studies will be an opportunity to deepen the notion of public space. This notion has been used in quite a diverse way since J. Habermas defined it, included in Religious Studies (see C. Taylor, J. Casanova for example). This conference is open to all students and young researchers (master’s, PhD and post doctorate), in a multidisciplinary perspective (law, economics, history, geography, sociology, anthropology, urbanism, political science, literature ...).

Le 8e colloque international sur le religieux contemporain sera l’occasion d’approfondir la notion d’espace public, aux usages polymorphes depuis sa définition par J. Habermas, et que les sciences humaines et sociales des religions se sont également approprié diversement (C. Taylor, J. Casanova par exemple).

Ce colloque est ouvert à tous les étudiants et jeunes chercheurs (maîtrise, doctorat et post doctorat), dans une perspective pluridisciplinaire (droit, économie, histoire, géographie, sociologie, anthropologie, urbanisme, sciences politiques, littérature…).

À titre indicatif (mais non limitatif), les propositions pourront porter sur les thématiques suivantes :

• Religion, pouvoir politique, sphère juridique
• Religion et espace
• Religion et transformation de la société
• Religion, études féministes et questions de genre
• Religion, immigration et ethnicité
• Diversité religieuse et laïcité
• Foi et transformation de la communauté
• Expériences spirituelles
• Croyants hors institution
• Christianisme et libération
• …

Le colloque se tiendra les 25 et 26 avril 2019 au Centre d’études du religieux contemporain de l’université de Sherbrooke (Campus principal).

Modalités de soumission

Les propositions de communication devront être soumises par courriel à l’Association étudiante pour l’étude du religieux contemporain et de la théologie (arctus@usherbrooke.ca)

au plus tard le lundi 11 février 2019.

L’acceptation des propositions de communication sera notifiée aux intervenants le 28 février 2019.

Chaque proposition de communication devra inclure :

• Les nom, prénom et adresse e-mail du conférencier
• L’université de rattachement et le programme d’étude
• Le titre de la proposition
• Le texte de la proposition (objectif, méthodologie, résultats). Maximum 200 mots

Les actes du colloque seront publiés suite à l’évènement.

The conference will be held on April 25 and 26, 2019 at the Center for Contemporary Religious Studies at the Université de Sherbrooke (Main Campus).

Submission guidelines

Proposals for papers must be submitted electronically to arctus@usherbrooke.ca  (Arctus : Student Association for the Study of Contemporary Religious and Theology)

no later than Monday, February 11, 2019.

The acceptance of the communication proposals will be notified to the speakers on February 28, 2019.

Each communication proposal should include:

• The author’s name, first name and e-mail
• The name of university and program
• The title of the proposal
• An abstract of no more than 200 words (objective, methodology, results).

 The proceedings of the conference will be published following the event.
