L'association Danses macabres d’Europe organise son XIX^e congrès à Bucarest du 20 au 23 mai 2021 autour des trois thèmes suivants : la longue durée de la danse macabre et de l’art macabre en général ; la violence de la mort : périls, pièges, peurs - images littéraires et artistiques ; les espaces de la mort - lieux funéraires et terrains anthropologiques.

L'association Danses macabres d'Europe

L’association Danses macabres d'Europe (DME) a été créée en France en 1987 ; d'autres groupes sont nés progressivement en Suisse, en Italie, aux Pays-Bas, en Allemagne et en Autriche. DME a organisé plusieurs congrès internationaux en France et à l'étranger ; le premier congrès a eu lieu à Clusone (Lombardie) en 1987, puis sont venus les congrès de Chartres (1988), Kientzheim (Alsace) en 1990, Straubing (Bavière) en 1992, Füssen (Bavière) en 1995, Kassel (Hesse) en 1998, Vendôme en 2000, Rouen en 2003, Gand en partenariat avec l'université de la ville en 2005, Metnitz (Carinthie, Autriche) en 2007, Sibiu (Roumanie) organisé par l'Université de Bucarest en 2010, Chartres en 2012, Turin organisé par l'Université de la ville en 2014, Troyes, organisé par l'Université de Reims Champagne-Ardenne et la Médiathèque du Grand Troyes en 2016, Paris, en 2019, organisé en partenariat avec la Bibliothèque Mazarine et la Bibliothèque Sainte-Geneviève.

Les versions définitives des textes des communications sont attendues pour la date du 15 novembre 2020 en vue de la publication du volume des Actes.

Le colloque se déroulera en deux langues : français et anglais.

Evaluation

Les résumés seront examinés par un comité de sélection constitué des membres du comité scientifique du colloque.

Les Actes du congrès seront publiés en 2021 aux Presses de l’Université de Bucarest.

Association “Danses macabres d’Europe”

The Association “Danses macabres d’Europe” (DME) was founded in France en 1987; study groups were subsequently created in Switzerland, Italy, the Netherlands, Germany and Austria. Timeline

• Deadline for abstract submission: 30 June 2020

• Confirmation of the proposals accepted by the selection committee: 15 July 2020
• The final versions of the presentations must be submitted by 15 November 2020, in view of their publication in a volume.

Evaluation

The abstracts will be evaluated by a selection committee comprising members of the scientific committee of the Congress.

Congress proceedings will be published in 2021 by Bucharest University Press.
