Questionner la légitimité des figures de la critique musicale du XXe siècle à nos jours
En France, depuis les années 2000, la critique musicale a été constituée en objet d’étude dans le domaine de la musicologie comme dans celui des études littéraires. S’est ainsi ouvert un vaste champ d’étude, susceptible d’être éclairé par de multiples approches. Dans le sillage de la réflexion initiée dès les années 1980 sur la légitimité du music criticism, cette journée d’étude propose d’étudier les débats qui virent s’opposer deux ou plusieurs figures de la critique musicale. La réflexion prendra en compte, d’une part, les compétences revendiquées par les uns et par les autres comme nécessaires à l’élaboration d’un discours légitime sur la musique. D’autre part, elle dégagera à travers ces débats, les divergences de vues sur ce qui doit constituer l’objet du discours sur la musique, et sur les méthodes, les outils, les styles et les formes d’écriture auxquels peuvent recourir les commentateurs.

The Crisis Communication Working Group aims to provide a forum for scholars researching the mediation of political and economic crisis, wars and terrorism, disasters, catastrophes and risks, combining global and local perspectives. We adopt a broad understanding of crisis communication with theoretical contributions from different perspectives and disciplines and hope to stimulate fruitful discussions about threat-image constructions and the consequences for democracy and civil rights.

The Comic Art Working Group, founded in 1984 by John A. Lent, is celebrating its thirtieth anniversary. As part of that occasion, the group hopes to have a full program of papers for the 2015 IAMCR conference in Montreal. Papers on any aspect of comic art are requested, such as political, advertising, or gag cartoons, newspaper strips, comic books, graphic novels, humor /cartoon periodicals, animation, and caricature.

La scène punk en France (1976-2016) : objets et méthodes
Cette première journée d'étude s’inscrit dans le cadre du projet de recherche (Punk is not dead. Une histoire de la scène punk en France, 1976-2016), soutenu par l’UMR THALIM (CNRS, ENS, Paris 3). Elle se propose d’interroger les caractéristiques et les spécificités de la scène punk en France entre 1976 et 2016, là où les travaux existants se sont au contraire centrés sur l’évidence anglo-saxonne, et de mettre en exergue ce qui rend cette scène irréductible à ses homologues anglo-américains. Elle est destinée à ouvrir des pistes en termes de problématiques (périmètres, définitions, identités), de sources (presse, fanzines, réper- toires, réseaux) et de terrains.

Réflexion sur ses promoteurs et son rayonnement
Le réseau international de chercheurs « Transfopress » se fixe pour objet la promotion d’un objet patrimonial matériel totalement délaissé, tant en France que dans quasiment tous les autres pays du monde : la presse publiée dans des langues autres que la ou les langues nationales. Il propose, ainsi, de renouveler l’écriture de l’histoire de la presse, mais également celle de la construction des identités et des cultures nationales.

Le séminaire d’études sur le journalisme de Grenoble / Grenoble Journalism Studies Workshop est organisé conjointement par les laboratoires PACTE (CNRS, UPMF, UJF et Sciences Po Grenoble) et GRESEC (université Stendhal) ainsi que par l’EJDG (école de journalisme de Grenoble). Il réunit des chercheurs intéressés aussi bien par les aspects sociaux que discursifs de la pratique du journalisme. Les idéologies linguistiques dans la presse écrite
L'exemple des langues romanes
Le réseau de recherche CIRCULA organisera du 29 au 31 octobre 2015 le colloque international ILPE 2 – Les idéologies linguistiques dans la presse écrite : l’exemple des langues romanes. Ce colloque s’inscrit dans la continuité de la première rencontre scientifique ILPE qui a eu lieu à Augsburg (Allemagne) en octobre 2013. Comme la précédente édition, l’événement aura pour objectif de réunir des chercheurs s’intéressant au double rôle de la presse écrite – que ce soit sur support papier ou numérique – comme lieu de production et de diffusion d’idéologies linguistiques et en tant que moyen de standardisation de la langue, plus particulièrement dans les communautés de langue romane.
