Les pèlerinages: parcours historiques, parcours croyants, parcours géographiques
La Ville de Lourdes et l'Observatoire du Religieux de l'Institut d'Etudes Politiques d'Aix-en-Provence organisent un colloque sur le thème « Les pèlerinages : parcours historiques, parcours croyants, parcours géographiques », à Lourdes les 17, 18 et 19 septembre 2008. Dans un champ religieux en recomposition, les pèlerinages connaissent une vitalité et une pérennité dans toutes les religions et aires culturelles. Suscitant des migrations humaines quantitativement importantes, ils sont objet de questionnement pour les institutions religieuses et séculières qui ont à en assurer la gestion, tant matérielle et logistique que dogmatique. Pendant trois jours, responsables religieux, élus, chercheurs (sociologues, historiens, anthropologues, ethnologues...) échangeront leurs approches et analyses afin de tenter de produire un paradigme renouvelé du pèlerinage qui permette de rendre compte du caractère universel de ce fait socio-religieux mais aussi des dynamiques particulières de chacun des sites.
