Professorship in the history of the anthropocene
We invite applications from scholars with documented research interests in the domains of environmental history, the history of knowledge, or science/technology history, and with a focus on the 19th to the 21st centuries. The professor will have to develop innovative teaching and research at the Department of History in the domain of the History of the Anthropocene, with a concentration in, for example, climate, plants, animals, energy, resources or environment.

Carbonnier Prize 2020 - research into law and justice
La campagne de recueil des candidatures pour le prix Jean Carbonnier de la recherche sur le droit et la justice 2020 est lancée. Ce prix récompense des travaux portant sur le droit ou la justice, quelle que soit la discipline des sciences humaines et sociales concernée. Rédigés en français, publiés ou non, ils doivent constituer pour leur auteur(e), français(e) ou étranger(ère), l’une de ses premières recherches ou l’un de ses premiers travaux. Ils doivent avoir été achevés, et soutenus s’il s’agit d’une thèse, entre le 1er septembre 2018 et le 31 décembre 2019. Une subvention de 5000 € est attribuée au lauréat, à la lauréate. Depuis 2017, le prix Carbonnier est attribué en partenariat avec les éditions Dalloz.

The position calls for PhD positions 65% of standard work hours per week.

Les travaux doivent concerner les enfants, adolescent·e·s ou adultes connaissant des difficultés à caractère social ou présentant un handicap physique ou psychique. Ils peuvent traiter soit de l’éducation ou de la formation, soit des modalités d’accompagnement, soit des soins à leur apporter. Ils envisagent notamment les moyens susceptibles de favoriser la prévention, l’accession de ces publics à l’autonomie ou leur statut de citoyen dans la société. Les disciplines concernées sont notamment (mais non exclusivement) les suivantes : architecture, médiation culturelle, sciences de l’éducation, psychologie, sociologie, sciences politiques, les disciplines médicales…
