Shared memory(ies): Creation, research and politics in the European contemporary stage
IIe congrès de l’European association for the studies of theatre and performance (EASTAP)
Nous constatons l'enregistrement compulsif de nos actions « pour mémoire future ». Où se situe le théâtre et la performance dans cette problématique ? En tant qu'art de la mémoire ? En tant que dispositif mnémonique qui permet à une communauté de se souvenir temporairement ensemble et, surtout, de produire des mémoires, de projeter la mémoire dans un espace-temps de partage ? On peut parler d'un théâtre compris comme palimpseste qui laisse entrevoir ce qui est écrit, effacé, réécrit dans le corps-mémoire des acteurs, mais aussi dans le corps de ceux qui, étant présents, refont et refondent leurs mémoires en permanence. Le IIe congrès de l'European association for the studies of theatre and performance (EASTAP) a l'intention de réactiver la discussion sur le rôle de la mémoire dans la création théâtrale contemporaine.

Des siècles de productions artistiques, scientifiques, géopolitiques et médiatiques sur les îles ont contribué à créer des discours et des images si amplement diffusés qu’ils investissent notre regard sur le monde, souvent de façon indirecte et dérobée. Des propos convenus et attendus surchargent et masquent la réalité de l’île. On y recourt pour représenter et expliquer le monde et le rapport de l’homme au monde, même lorsque les territoires décrits ne sont pas insulaires et les hommes dont il est question ne sont pas îliens. Ce prisme de l’île contribue-t-il à mieux connaître la réalité où fonctionne-t-il plutôt comme un voile déformant, invitant à interpréter ce que l’on observe selon ce qui est déjà connu ?

It will also train participants with practical skills to explore different potentialities of Webmapping and Augmented Reality as new tools for tourism activity. This Summer School is intended for employees of the City Councils, Tourist Offices, and institutions and professionals who carry out activities linked to tourism. State-building, social movements and political economy
Modernity was marked by the edification of increasingly complex and sophisticated state system, committed to governing territories and populations, through a multiplicity of administrative, fiscal, police and judicial networks. At the same time, new mechanisms for legitimizing political power emerged, based on the building of a public sphere and the dissemination of different forms of collective organization and mobilization: from associations to petitions, from political demonstrations to strikes and riots. Finally, a new regime of production and consumption was created in the form of a Political Economy directed to the creation of markets, the movement of goods and the accumulation of capital.

Linguistic terminology and mediation - methods, practices and activities
La XVe journée scientifique du réseau REALITER explorera les fonctions de la terminologie dans la médiation linguistique et communicationnelle des savoirs, des connaissances et des pratiques professionnelles. On entend ici par médiation le processus complexe de construction ou de déconstruction qui, par la verbalisation, transforme des concepts en unités linguistiques / discursives ou qui, par adaptation de la verbalisation existante, permet l’accès à ces unités par des publics différents et normés selon les situations (dans la même langue ou dans des langues différentes). Sans aucune limitation théorique ou épistémologique, le concept de médiation doit être vu dans sa grande multidimensionalité (d’Aristote à Vygotsky et Gagnepain, entre autres).

Yesterday and today, distance and proximity, similitude and otherness
À la faveur des commémorations du centenaire de la mort du romancier et poète français Victor Segalen, et alors que l’émergence, tant théorique que critique, d’une « fiction-monde » s’impose dans les études littéraires - laquelle met le comparatisme à l’épreuve et complexifie les prémisses des études postcoloniales -, et que la perspective classique dégagée par Edward W. Saïd sur le constructum de l’Orient par l’Occident ne rend plus compte, à elle seule, de l’étendue des questions soulevées par la globalisation des faits, des enjeux et des fictions, il nous semble pertinent de nous pencher, avec un recul théorique et dans un empan qui inclut les XIX, XX et XXIèmes siècles en langue française, sur la notion changeante et transversale d’« exotisme ».

Pour cette deuxième rencontre, on se propose de revenir, après d’autres débats qui ont eu lieu, et dont on tentera, entre autres, une sorte de synthèse, à la question de l’utilité des études littéraires. Quand on s’occupe des textes, des livres, sur papier, sur écran, car nous vivons aussi actuellement l’avènement des humanités numériques, à quoi bon ? Cela sert à quoi, ce type d’attention, ce genre d’activité, ces longs séjours en bibliothèque, en médiathèque ? Quelle finalité ? Quels bénéfices ? Pour le dire avec Montaigne : de quoi voulons-nous, allons-nous « traiter » ?

Le colloque organisée par l'Institut d'Histoire Contemporaine de NOVA FCSH cherchera à répondre à des questions telles que: quelles idées communes, quels buts et quelles attitudes exprimés par la presse satirique ont façonné le concept de nation? Qui étaient les "autres" représentés par l’image satirique par opposition à "nous"? Comment les visions et les représentations de «l'autre» par opposition au «soi» exprimées par l'image satirique ont-elles aidé à définir les identités nationales, à construire la notion de communauté et à façonner les stéréotypes nationaux ?

The 7th Portuguese Anthropological Association congress aims to discuss the condition of being human and being in the world today. 2019, a year of a possible calendar among many other available. Without identifying themes, reference words, categories or classifications, 2019 marks a stage in the social and natural history of the planet. The openness suggested in an “untitled” congress also points to an anthropology without conceptual, thematic or epistemological boundaries. It is life in itself that interests anthropology, anthropologies, thinking the gerund of human existence, others and the rest from multiple interpretive possibilities. After all, anthropology is practiced on everything and everyone in a project of knowledge that remains inexhaustible in terms of what exists and is to come.

PIUDHIST is an inter-university doctoral programme in which History is viewed from an inter-disciplinary point of view. Despite its unique character, History is regarded here as a field of knowledge which cannot do without a permanent cross fertilization with other areas in the humanities and the social sciences. In our vision, this is also why we consider apposite to attach, as a subtitle for this programme, the words “change and continuity in a global world”. It takes place in Lisbon, Portugal, jointly organized by the University of Lisbon, University of Évora, Portuguese Catholic University and ISCTE - Lisbon University Institute. Courses and seminars run in Portuguese and English. Enrolled students receive monitoring assistance by tutors and supervisors.
