  En quelques décennies, les technologies numériques se sont massivement répandues dans les activités professionnelles. Après l’apparition de la machine à vapeur au XIX^e siècle et du moteur à explosion au XX^e siècle, le numérique semble jouer un rôle aussi important dans les évolutions du monde de travail qu’il accompagne et influence. Il équipe, par exemple, davantage la dimension sociale du travail et contribue à la personnalisation des services  par le traitement de données de masse. Ce numéro porte sur les effets de la transformation numérique sur le travail et les organisations. Par transformation numérique ou digitalisation du travail nous entendons l’impact que le numérique a aussi bien sur la nature et le contenu des activités professionnelles, que sur les contextes de travail d’une manière plus générale (dimensions relationnelles, organisationnelles, managériales…), aussi bien au sein des entreprises que dans leur prolongement à l’extérieur de celles-ci.

  Multifaceted Inequality in Contemporary India

  The "Association des jeunes études indiennes" (AJEI) is a student organization whose members are young researchers coming from various disciplines of the human and social sciences (from masters degree to postdoctoral level) whose area of research is South Asia. Every year, a research seminar in France and a workshop in India bring students and scholars together in order to discuss the topics and papers presented. Since 1998 the AJEI organizes an annual workshop in India with the support of international and local partners. This year we propose a three day workshop with an opening lecture, daily presentations discussed by senior researchers, methodological workshops, and a concluding session. One of our goals is also to interact informally, and build relationships, towards creating a strong international network of researchers.

  Impacts et adaptations

  La question de l’adaptation des territoires et des organismes vivants aux changements climatiques est devenue depuis 2011 en France une préoccupation majeure inscrite à l’agenda des politiques publiques d’aménagement et de développement local (décret du 11 juillet 2011, article R.229-51 à R.229-56 du code de l’environnement) à travers notamment les Plans nationaux d’adaptation au changement climatique, les « plans climat air énergie territoriaux » (PCEAT)  et la loi sur la transition énergétique. Afin de répondre à une forte demande sociale et politique aux échelons locaux, régionaux et nationaux, sociologues, géographes, anthropologues, économistes et historiens se mobilisent désormais aux côtés des biologistes et des écologues pour penser de manière transversale et multidimensionnelle la problématique de L’adaptation des territoires aux changements climatiques.

  While immigration has always been an important issue in the election debates, the current centrality of this topic invite us to question its rhetoric power (evocative terms, objectives pursued, instrumental efficiency…). Beyond the political scenes of Canada and United States (main arenas), will also be considered critical readings of electoral experiences in the Latin-American political world. This workshop will aim to shed the light on this matter in order to question (through politics, sociology, economics, law, history…) the reminiscence of what seems to be a modern form of identity resurgence in a specific framework: the electoral arena campaign, a real national trajectory catalyst.

  Harvesting the sea : Mediterranean fishing economies societies and practices (XVth-XXIst century)

  Occupying today less than 250.000 workers for the whole Mediterranean basin, fishing activities have left their mark on the history of coastal societies since Antiquity. On the Northwestern banks, these activities have undergone significant changes since the end of the Middle Ages. From the XV^th century, a series of technological innovations accelerate the integration of fishing communities to the economies of their times. The multiplication of new actors involved in providing fishing gear, resource transformation, its distribution as well as the implementation of council politics intended to ensure urban markets supply, generates a dilatation of the fishing economies’ sphere.

  Fictions and economies in the Enlightenment

  Pour la troisième année consécutive, ce séminaire organisé par le Centre d'histoire des systèmes de pensée modernes (CHSPM), Philosophie, histoire et analyse des représentations économiques (PHARE) et l'Institut d'histoire de la pensée classique (IHPC) explorera les liens entre fiction et économie au XVIII^e siècle, du double point de vue des motifs économiques (l'argent, la pauvreté, et les échanges en général) à l'œuvre dans la littérature, et des récits et dispositifs fictionnels présents dans les textes économiques. Cette année, il inaugure un partenariat avec le séminaire « Littérature et philosophie » du Centre des sciences de la littérature française (CSLF) de l'université Paris Ouest Nanterre-La Défense.

This unit also lends itself to "total history", that is simultaneously economic, social, financial, technological, industrial, geographical, strategic, maritime ... Naval arsenals are therefore well known and the study of them has mostly been carried out within the framework of major theses, each institution having found "its" historian.

  In search of the Balkans: Between Europe and the Mediterranean?

  This conference will follow the “Balkan studies: state of knowledge and lines of research” meeting organized by the French Association of Balkan studies (AFEBALK) in Paris in November 2002. The objective of this new meeting is to provide an overview of the current state of research concerning this region through the perspective of the multiple ways of practicing social sciences here. Nearly fifteen years after the previous meeting, a new milestone in the contemporary Balkan studies in France has to be set. Numerous issues valid then (minorities, conflicts, borders, interfaith co-existence etc.), which often contributed to characterizing the Balkans as a “separate” space in Europe, have now given way to new perspectives, new challenges and new research practices.

  Employability: an ephemeral game or sustainable opportunities for wage earners and businesses

  Bien que relativement ancien car ayant émergé en Angleterre au début du XX^e siècle, le concept d’employabilité a connu une lente mutation depuis son apparition. Si, à l’origine, l’employabilité permettait de distinguer les « vrais » des « faux » chômeurs dans les années 30, aux USA, elle permit de distinguer les individus « employables » des individus « inemployables ». Ce colloque a pour objectif de contribuer à l’amélioration et à la diffusion de la connaissance sur le concept d’employabilité. Il est ouvert aux chercheurs et aux praticiens dans le but d’échanger et d’associer les travaux de recherche de nature académique avec des expériences de terrain.

  Shifting the borders of work, Tracés journal issue 32

  Revue « Tracés » n°32

  Dans son numéro 32 la revue Tracés s'interroge sur la récente extension de la catégorie de "travail" qui sert à désigner de plus en plus d'activités humaines jusqu'alors communément comprises par le prisme de la générosité, du partage, de la solidarité, du don, du plaisir, de la création ou de l’engagement. Il ne s'agit pas d'envisager ces activités frontières à partir d’un modèle central - le travail stable et salarié -, mais bien d’interroger ce centre à partir d’activités périphériques ou en voie de reconnaissance. Ce numéro cherche donc à reposer la question de la définition du travail par la marge (Axe 1), à apprécier les luttes des qualifications qui viennent régulièrement renégocier ses frontières (Axe 2) et enfin en interroger la possibilité pour les activités humaines d'échapper au travail (Axe 3).

Its management gives rise to numerous problems because of its features: knowledge is difficult to control (involuntary spreading, or on the contrary access and sharing failure). It is an unlimited resource (it cannot be destroyed after use). It accrues in the organization. Hence, what are today this asset management issues, how to manage and protect knowledge at best, how to evaluate this intangible asset, how to value knowledge within organizations?

  Le paysage viticole est caractérisé par son esthétique qui tranche par rapport aux autres types de paysages agricoles. Paysage culturel, il est souvent labellisé par l'Unesco. Le patrimoine vitivinicole est de plus en plus sollicité dans des mises en scènes paysagères en des lieux stratégiques destinés à attirer l'œil des œnotouristes dans les régions viticoles. Mais, le patrimoine vitivinicole ressort aussi des usages locaux, loyaux et constants qui ont participé à la mise en place des AOC (appellations d'origine contrôlée) au début du XX^e siècle, parfois avec une relecture a posteriori valorisante. Il découle des savoir-faire comme des cépages utilisés, dont certains sont remis à l'honneur récemment.

  Les jeunes constituent la pierre angulaire de toute société. Ils représentent un réservoir d’actifs inépuisables, pourtant inexploités. Tout État qui se préoccupe de son avenir se doit de prêter une attention particulière à cette catégorie sociale qui représente une force motrice et un atout majeur face aux défis de demain. En adoptant une politique managériale adéquate, l'État est à même de renforcer la contribution des jeunes dans le développement de leur pays. Faute de quoi, et en face de l’exclusion et de la marginalisation, les jeunes se transforment en agents destructeurs, entravant, voire ruinant, le progrès de leur nation. Toute politique gouvernementale marginalisant les jeunes s’avère, ainsi, infructueuse et contreproductive et générerait, par voie de conséquence, des réactions nocives et destructrices, comme en témoignent les derniers troubles qu’ont connus divers pays arabes.

  For a few years now, in France, scientific literature about serendipity has mostly stressed strategic issues, in the form of the serendipian moment. While serendipity, as a concept, has enjoyed a certain amount of popularity and has indeed been researched in social sciences, it has to be said that many aspects remain undealt with. For instance, the matter of temporality appears as central. This issue of Temporalités aims precisely at moving the focus away from the serendipian moment of creation and, instead, at pointing it towards the relationship between serendipity and the different régimes of temporalities (Dubar 2004). Indeed, serendipity leads to a different way of assessing time.

  Created in the 60s, the label's use for cultural and natural heritage has increased dramatically for several years, specially in France. Inherited from the marketing and trade world, the use of labels for cultural and natural heritage illustrates the expansion of heritage's conception to new artefacts and new cultural properties, in an anthropological meaning. Some recent studies on the cultural and natural heritage labels  insist on the economic benefits for development of territories. But the legal and institutional dimensions of labels in heritage have been ignored. The goal  of the symposium is to define and precise the purposes and the caracteristics of labels in the field of heritage.
