Thinking and conducting the transformation of work
The contribution of the ergological approach and the works of Yves Schwartz
The ergological approach intends to the co-production of knowledge with the aim of transforming work and more generally the social life. As stated by the scientific project of the Workshop, “the ergological approach, in its history and in its issues, is a priori a subject of interest for everyone, each exploring in its own way the intricacies of human life, but also anyone who wants to think about its own activity and that of others, to reconsider the ways of doing and taking action, of opening new perspectives in ways of working, acting and living”. Yet this approach, which is particularly needed nowadays, is insufficiently known and sometimes considered complex. This is the state of play at the origin of this international workshop for which this call for papers is published.

Far from being universal, pedestrian access is thus quite unequal from one urban area or population group to another.

Iberian worlds - Europe, America, Africa, Asia, 19th-21st centuries
Élément constituant de la ville, la rue a beaucoup évolué au fil des siècles. Assurant la mise en relation des lieux, des fonctions et des groupes sociaux, elle est une forme urbaine qui a une configuration, une architecture, une histoire. Elle a ses logiques, ses dynamiques et ses usages. Ses pratiques et ses représentations sont liées à l’espace urbain dans lequel elle s’inscrit ; elles dépendent aussi de facteurs politiques et socio-économiques. Le « sens » de la rue pouvant donc varier considérablement, il est nécessaire d’aborder celle-ci sous l’angle d’un certain relativisme, en gardant présente à l’esprit la notion d’échelle. Ce colloque envisage la rue dans les mondes ibériques à travers ses dimensions fonctionnelles, socio-économiques, politiques et culturelles, au prisme des lieux et des éléments qui la composent, de ses acteurs et de ses créations. Quatre axes seront privilégiés : la « rue de l’urbaniste » ; Un espace socio-économique : lieu de passage et d’échanges ; Un espace symbolique : « ordre et désordres » ; Un espace de création artistique et langagière

Tout au long de sa vie » écrit Roberto Bolaño à propos du protagoniste principal de son roman inachevé, Los sinsabores del verdadero policía. Il avait connu des zones rouges. Les quartiers ouvriers, les cordons industriels, tout d’abord, les zones rurales libérées par la guérilla, par la suite. Ce sont précisément ces réminiscences « sesentistas » et « setentistas » de la jeunesse d’Amalfitano que nous nous proposons d’explorer dans le cadre de cette journée d’études.

Trop souvent considérée exclusivement comme une terre dont on sort, l’île de Cuba est généralement observée comme une terre dont on s’exile. Or, c’est oublier que, au moins depuis 1492, c’est une terre vers laquelle on converge, on arrive, on émigre, on s’asile et on se réfugie. Cuba est donc aussi une terre d’accueil et d’asile. Le but de ce colloque est d’envisager, dans une perspective historique (celle des faits et des idées), Cuba comme une terre d’asile sur trois étapes chronologiques : 1802-1898, 1902-1959, 1959-2016. On s’interrogera pour savoir jusqu’à quel point, depuis le XIXe siècle, la réalité insulaire et la position géopolitique particulière de l’île (objet de convoitise entre divers empires, située à la frontière entre le monde latin et anglo-saxon, etc.), ont été des constantes qui ont marqué l’histoire et la construction nationale cubaine ; ou si au contraire, la rupture de 1959 permet l’avènement d’un nouveau schéma politique dans les rapports induits par l’évolution des relations internationales dans le cadre de la Guerre froide.

L’objectif de ces 1er journées d’étude sur « Littérature et culture de la transition espagnole : la transition vue des marges » est donc d’aborder l’histoire littéraire et culturelle à partir du travail mené par ces mouvements contestataires ou ex-centriques, en soulignant ces manifestations dissidentes comme reflet ou représentation de cette période ; comme une entrée nécessaire pour comprendre les mutations, réajustements, capitulations, innovations qui ont peu à peu composé le tissu littéraire et culturel de ces années-là, et qui expliqueraient les chemins suivis au cours des décennies suivantes.

Militantism and Re-Compositions in Latin America
Re-composition of Militantism, Militant Trajectories and Constructions of Political Elites
This dossier aims to reflect equally on two issues central to the political reconfiguration of formerly militant activism in the most recent period of Latin American history. The first concerns the phenomena of political transformation of former militants and the networks and routes used by former militant actors to politically transform themselves. Many of these have been structured around the strategic positioning of radical political commitments, in addition to the development and integration of new generations of activists into partisan life. The notion of re-composition (translated from the French reconversion) seems appropriate in order to elaborate specifically the political landscape of formal and state connections in different cultural contexts of militantism. The second issue concerns the reconfiguration of militancy in societies that have undergone neoliberal reforms imposed in the last decades of the past century and the development of new approaches to the resistance to the neoliberal state.

In recent years historiography has been slowly acknowledging the potential of civil societies to restore concord after profound divisions. It also has uncovered the pacification strategies of authorities to reconcile and reincorporate individuals and social groups after periods of contestation and revolt. These complex processes are crucial to better understand the history of the Iberic monarchies, which have been able to develop a long-term government despite many crises of different origin and outlook. Hence, this conference will be focused on the themes of reconciliation and reincorporation from following four perspectives: Words, discourses and emotions (semantics and sentiments), Negotiating reconciliation (promotors and strategies), Making reconciliation work (agents and mediators, processes and forms), In the margin of reconciliations (the undecided and excluded)

Cet événement vise à poursuivre les discussions entamées lors du premier symposium « Penser les droites en Amérique latine au XXe siècle », qui s’est tenu à Paris en janvier 2014. À l’instar de ce premier événement, nous voulons contribuer à l'élaboration d'une réflexion universitaire sur les droites, leurs promoteurs et défenseurs, leurs organisations, leurs idées et leurs pratiques. À cette fin, nous invitons les chercheurs issus de différentes sciences sociales et humaines à soumettre des articles qui nous permettent de mieux connaître les organisations, les idées et les identités des droites latino-américaines au XXe siècle.

The aim of this conference, celebrating the thirtieth anniversary of MIGRINTER, is to examine the contribution of migration studies to human and social sciences at large. It will feature panels bringing forward some of the scientific domains that have addressed issues pertaining to international migration: the production of cities; the relation of politics to migration and of migrants to politics; history beneath and beyond nations; literature in/of exile.

In a general context of growing social inequalities, this issue reviews the role that housing plays in the system of inequalities, on the one hand, and in the multiple variations of housing inequalities, on the other. Faced with growing tensions in the housing market, we seek contributions that capture the changes at work in a field well-trodden by urban studies. Produced by class domination, racism and gender, how are today's inequalities intersect in analyses of access and housing conditions? How are inequalities produced in housing, who are the actors, what is the role of public policy? Beside typical situations, we encourage contributors to provide analyses of minority forms of housing as "social fact park" or de facto social housing in the private sector and existing housing stock and via third parties. Finally, this Call for Papers asks what are the consequences of housing inequality on the (re)production of inequality, and the changing classificatory function of housing.

Alors qu’au tournant du XXIe siècle on s’accordait pour reconnaître que l’État était fragilisé par la mondialisation, mais aussi par les différentes modalités de décentralisation, la montée des identités territoriales et ethniques et l’accélération des processus d’intégration économiques et politiques, on constate à présent que de nouveaux facteurs amplifient cette érosion. Dans de nombreux pays, les élites gouvernantes sont remises en question par une partie importante de la société civile, qui exige parallèlement – et paradoxalement – la mise en place d’un État fort d’un nouveau type. Si l’on regarde de près ces « nouveaux » mouvements sociaux, on observe que certains refusent d’être récupérés par l’État, que d’autres adoptent une « forme syndicale » ou, encore, se constituent en partis politiques et deviennent la cheville ouvrière du changement de nature de l’État.

Le domaine des luttes politiques pour les droits des personnes handicapées en Amérique Latine (XIXe - XXe siècles) reste encore largement inexploré. Un numéro spécial de la revue Disability and the Global South est prévu sur ce sujet pour l'année 2016. Nous souhaitons convier la communauté scientifique à soumettre une proposition d'article sur les luttes politiques menées par les personnes handicapées en Amérique Latine, en privilégiant les perspectives historiques ou transdisciplinaires, ainsi que les approches comparatives ou transnationales. Quelle est la nature et la spécificité des luttes politiques pour les droits des malades et des personnes handicapées en Amérique Latine ? Qu'ont-ils de commun et de divergent (en terme de contenus de revendications, de modes d'action, de temporalités, etc.) avec les luttes politiques menées dans les pays du Nord ?

Les droites latino-américaines pendant la guerre froide (1959–1989) : l’autre révolution ?

Les Cahiers des Amériques latines, journal ot the Institut des hautes études sur l’Amérique latine (université Sorbonne Nouvelle Paris 3) invites social scientists to deepen this exploration of the Latin American Right Wings during the Cold War (1959-1989). Assuming that we can not understand them without inscribing their temporality and historicity in the Cold War, we will ask us if there is a new political generation emerging in the 60’s and if this generation is connected to the neo-conservative revolution of Ronald Reagan and Margareth Thatcher in the 80’s. This issue, to be published in the fall of 2015, will focuse on the circulation of ideas and theories, actors and practices, symbols and subjectivities of political parties and political leaders, but also of social, economic and cultural actors. It will favor empirically based articles with a comparative reading of Latin American Rights or with a connected history approach within the Euro-American space.

The objective of this colloquium will be to debate and analyze politics and the political by means of the different forms of language, discourse and practices that intervene in the construction of the social world. There are myriad examples of this in Chilean history. Taking history, political philosophy and political economy as the starting points, we invite doctoral candidates, researchers and academics to participate in this truly trans disciplinary space of debate, reflection and feedback whose goal is not only to unite a community of researchers into “the political” in the republican period but also to select the best works presented for a future publication in the format of a collective work or a special dossier of a scientific publication.

From Popular Unity to Chile’s democratic transition (1970-2013): cinema, politics, and memory
À l’occasion du quarantième anniversaire du coup d’État militaire du 11 septembre 1973 contre le gouvernement de Salvador Allende au Chili, l’association de doctorants en études cinématographiques Les Trois lumières organise deux journées d’étude. Prévues pour les 9 et 10 octobre 2013 à l’INHA, elles seront consacrées à la représentation cinématographique de la politique du gouvernement d’Unité populaire et de la répression, de 1973 jusqu’à la transition démocratique, ainsi qu’aux manifestations de solidarité internationale des milieux cinématographiques avant et après le putsch.

A Revista Ibero-americana de Saúde e Cidadania/Iberoamerican publica uma edição especial sobre Sexualidade(s) e Cidadania(s). Os trabalhos devem abordar a importância da sexualidade na sociedade e na conceituação e definição de cidadania. Este número temático aborda a importância da visibilidade da diversidade sexual, a capacitação das diferenças, das minorias sociais e sexuais, e a necessidade de criar, projetar e estabelecer políticas sociais e de saúde pública que melhorem a situação social da diversidade sexual. Diversidade sexual e cidadania são dois conceitos que fazem parte do desenvolvimento educacional e social de forma global e diversificada. Devem, por isso, ser analisados de forma multidisciplinar. Daí que se pretenda uma abordagem das ciências da saúde, das ciências sociais e humanas e dos estudos de género das realidades sociais decorrentes de ambos os conceitos.

Les défis de l'indépendance : la formation de l'État et de la nation en Amérique latine
Dans le contexte des commémorations des bicentaires des indépendances latino-américaines et en rapport avec la problématique d'un des sujets de civilisation du programme de l'agrégation d'espagnol, ces journées feront le point sur les recherches concernant le processus de formation de l'État et de la nation entre 1808 et 1910. Les journées combineront les approches globales (pour en dégager les éléments communs à tout le continent) avec l'étude de cas (le Mexique, le Pérou, la Colombie, le Vénézuéla). La dimension internationale de cette construction sera sera également analysée, avec une attention particulière pour le problème de la reconnaissance internationale et l'insertion des nouveaux états.
